How to create a sitemap
What is a site map? you have to understand it before you start creating one. A sitemap is something similar to a table of contents. They are most important for you because they are a guide to your website. They just get right to the point instead of searching some page for a long time. The below is the basic important of a site map. If any body searches a keyword, the search engine will look at the sitemap for that particular keyword and then it returns the results of that keyword. By this, you would’ve understood the importance of site map. IT generates lot of traffic to your site, if you have properly set it up.
Creating site map is also very easy. Not like before, now we have many automated software which can create site map for us. We just need a notepad, a program editor and some patience to create a sitemap of our own. Just do the following steps,
Create the listing on a notepad.
Create a new page for your sitemap.
Create a link for the sitemap.
Check your work.
Upload your work.
That’s it and you are done. Site map is more vital for your website. Sitemaps, be it generated by a program automatically or you made it yourself, presents the same purpose. That is to lead your visitors to where they’re likely headed, and for you to be seen on the World Wide Web through search spiders. So with these, make sure your website has a sitemap of its own, lest make one.
